Since I am using two different types of cardstock (matte and foil), I will choose Medium Cardstock-80 lb as a base material, change the pressure to More, and tick the Remember material settings box.

Equally important, I will place the base material on the mat using a brayer tool to spread it equally. Afterward, load the mat into the cutting machine and press the flashing Go button.
After the cutting process comes to an end, I am going to unload the mat and bend it to release the pieces on it. Since it is a sensitive process, I will be very cautious so that I won’t damage the mat and the design.
Step 4: Assemble Christmas Gift Tags
After finishing the first three stages of how to make Christmas tags with Cricut, I will now use a weeding tool and remove the extra pieces of paper from the design.
Now, I am going to assemble the gift tags by grabbing all the tags together and inserting the twine string inside the loop in a proper manner. See!
